What is Peppermint?
Peppermint is a perennial herb that can grow up to 3 feet tall. It is easily propagated and fast growing with an extensive network of "runners".

Since ancient times, peppermint has been used for everything from indigestion, nausea, sore throat, headaches, toothaches, cramps and more.
It is is an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiphlogistic, antipruritic, antiseptic, antiviral, astringent, expectorant, febrifuge, stomachic, vermifuge, and vasoconstrictor.
How does Peppermint work?
Peppermint helps to normalize the sebum secretion and cool the skin. It also increase the blood flow to the skin to heal while providing protection against bacteria and viruses.
If you have a dog with oily hair, it will help the skin and hair not to feel oily. At the same time, the natural pH balance of peppermint is beneficial for dry and itchy skin and fur as its natural moisturizing properties help in treating dry scalp and flaking so that you get silky hair with less dry itchy skin!
